Bird & Bird appoints 3 new partners in Europe and Asia


Bird & Bird is pleased to announce the appointment of 3 new partners from its offices in London, Munich and Beijing. As of 1 May, when these appointments take effect, Bird & Bird will have more than 291 partners across its 27 offices in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Our new partners are:

David Bintliff, from our London office: David advises global media companies, technology platforms and digital start-ups on all aspects of the content delivery chain: from content creation, development and commissioning to content financing, production and distribution across multi-platform channels and devices.

Rieko Michishita, from our office in Beijing: Rieko provides tri-lingual advice on both contentious and non-contentious IP matters. She has managed IP portfolios for global clients across numerous industries including gaming, publishing, retail, technology, electronics and industrial machinery. She has extensive experience in coordinating IP disputes including patents, copyrights, trade mark, trade secrets and unfair competition in China.

Ralph Panzer, based in Munich: Ralph is a member of the International Employment Practice Group. He advises national and international companies in the areas of individual and collective employment law. He provides advice regarding lay-offs, dismissals, redundancies, flexible working and remuneration schemes. Ralph also works as an "external legal department" for all personnel-related matters and represents his clients before the labour courts and other courts of law.
