Bird & Bird expands IP practice in Lyon with the appointment of Géraldine Arbant



Bird & Bird is pleased to announce the appointment of Géraldine Arbant as a partner in our Intellectual Property Practice, based in Lyon. She will contribute to expand Bird & Bird's local IP capability and to reinforce our brand management activity.

Géraldine joins as a partner from Fidal, with clients in the Life Sciences, Food & Beverages, Automotive and Tech & Comms sectors. She will be part of Bird & Bird's award winning European IP practice, named 'Firm of the Decade' at the Managing IP awards this year.

She assists clients with the protection of their IP, including filing and registering trade marks, designs, models and copyright; licence agreements, order agreements, manufacturing and distribution agreements, as well as advisory and auditing projects. She also defends clients' IP against infringement and unfair competition before the French courts and international tribunals.
