Making innovation happen in healthcare is hard; it's also essential to the delivery of smarter healthcare for the 21st century.
Great ideas are only the beginning.
And recognising those who do deliver, despite the many challenges of a sector as diverse and demanding as healthcare, matters.
That's why we're pleased to again support HSJ Innovators, an initiative led by Health Service Journal, which recognises a cross-section of individuals across British healthcare who reflect the range and spirit of the essential and astounding (but often overlooked) innovation which happens throughout the sector.
This year's list will have a particular focus on innovators in 5 areas:
- Patient care
- Patient engagement
- Organisational change
- Structural change
To suggest individuals who should be recognised this year, click here - the closing date is 5 September 2014.
The list will be selected by a panel of 12 judges including Dominic Cook who heads our healthcare group, and will be announced in October 2014.
Details of those who made it on to last year's inaugural list are at http://www.hsj.co.uk/5065065.article.
