Bird & Bird is delighted to announce that it has appointed Driss Bererhi as a partner in its office in Paris.
Driss was previously a Counsel at Wilkie Farr & Gallagher in Paris. Prior to joining Wilkie Farr & Gallagher in 2010, he was at Freshfields in Paris, where he focused primarily on public private partnership deals.
Driss has a total of 12 years of experience in banking and finance law, and has specialised in project finance since 2006. He has a particularly strong reputation both in France and abroad.
Bird & Bird's International Banking & Finance Practice Group has recruited a number of partners in recent months, including three asset finance partners (Brett Hailey in London, Leo Fattorini in Singapore and Matthias Winter in Germany) as well as Bernhard Gemmel (focusing on banking and financing transactions, in particular project finance, real estate finance and acquisition finance/LBO).
