Bird & Bird's website won the prestigious "Sitecore Site of the Year UK People's Choice Award" which was presented in London on 5 December. The award, run annually by Sitecore is open to all websites built using Sitecore's website CMS system.
Bird & Bird were up against tough competition with sites entered from across the UK including Manchester City, Professional Football Association, Visit Wales, MoneyForce, LoveGold, Chester Zoo and Christies education. The site was built by 3chillies, a Reading based website design and development company.
Keith Hardie, Head of Marketing Communications at Bird & Bird, commenting on the award, "Winning this award endorses our early experiences of user acceptance of our new website. We are receiving double the number of requests for business per month via the website. This is the surest sign that our site is achieving our primary goal of making it easy for clients to get in contact with us. The in depth analysis of web visitors, internal administrators and Bird & Bird corporate offices defined the website performance requirements which included:

o Create a platform for marketing automation
o Increase online presence through enhanced SEO
o Provide desktop, tablet and mobile display
