On Wednesday 6 November, respected UK publication Health Service Journal (HSJ) supported by Bird & Bird announced the HSJ Top Innovators in Healthcare list. The list identifies individuals across the UK who have found new ways to tackle challenges in healthcare.
Guests from the UK NHS including Helen Bevan and Lord Adebowale, a number of healthcare businesses and many academic organisations attended a reception at our London office to mark the launch.
Welcoming guests to the reception, Dominic Cook, head of our healthcare group, said:
"We are delighted to be able to support this fantastic HSJ initiative as a very significant amount of work done by this firm involves innovation – from our IP and Life Sciences teams, to our healthcare team that focuses on the enablers behind the provision of smarter healthcare in the 21st century."
Before announcing the list Alastair McLellan also commented:
“I would argue that there is actually more clever thinking going on in the NHS than at any time in its history. The people on this list are the people driving change, and providing inspiration and leadership”.
Bird & Bird would like to congratulate the innovative individuals on the list, which can be found here.
