Bird & Bird partners, Marjolein Geus and Morag Macdonald last night received the "Best in Telecoms Media Technology" and "Best in Life Sciences" awards at Euromoney's European Women in Business Law Awards ceremony, held in London. Two of the firm's offices also won awards and seven other Bird & Bird partners were nominated, making the firm one of the most recognised at the prestigious event.
The awards honour firms that have set the standard in terms of female-friendly work practices and celebrate the achievements of women in the legal sector across Europe.
Marjolein won the international accolade for her work in the Communications, Information Technology and Media sectors, while Morag was awarded the title for her broad expertise in Life Sciences.
