Global Arbitration Review incorporates Bird & Bird in guide to international arbitration

The strength and sector-focussed depth of Bird & Bird's arbitration work has been recognised by key international arbitration publication Global Arbitration Review, with a first time inclusion for the firm in the 4th edition of the GAR 100 Guide to the international arbitration capabilities of law firms.  Bird & Bird’s inclusion in this prestigious list of key players is testament not only to the sector expertise within the firm but also the high quality arbitration offering across many of our international offices.

GAR singles out Bird & Bird as "one of the leading practices in sports and IP disputes"  with the commentary on the firm focussing on key individuals  within the arbitration group - including Trevor Cook, Jonathan Taylor, Jane Player and Sarah Walker - as well as including client accolades.  Quotes from clients include those from Northrop Grumman, who describe the firm as "young, keen, knowledgeable and flexible" and Ablynx who said "we wanted the best, and that is what we got."

Commenting on this, Jane Player, Joint Head of Dispute Resolution said: "We are delighted to be included in such a prestigious publication as the GAR 100. Over the last few years, our Arbitration Group has been involved in an increasing number of high value arbitrations across our key sectors, and the GAR 100 profile is a confirmation of our strength in this area."
