Bird & Bird’s high quality arbitration work has again been recognised by key international arbitration publication Global Arbitration Review in the 5th edition of the GAR 100 Guide.
Inclusion for the second year running amongst this list of prominent law firms reinforces the strength of Bird & Bird’s international arbitration capability and highlights the depth of sector expertise within the firm.
GAR highlighted our growing strength for international arbitration mentioning our work in Paris, Warsaw and Stockholm; with the latter office receiving instructions in two aviation arbitrations worth over €100 million.
Individuals from our arbitration group mentioned include: Jonathan Taylor, Annet van Hooft and Sophie Eyre who was involved in one of the most prominent privacy arbitration cases. Investment arbitration has also been featured as a new area in which Bird & Bird have won pitches over the last year.
Commenting on this, Vonnick Le Guillou, Co-head of International Dispute Resolution said: "We are very pleased to maintain our inclusion in the GAR 100. This is a great achievement and demonstrates the strength of our team which we have most recently developed with the arrival of Steven Baker in London and Catherine Mun in Hong Kong.”
