Bird & Bird once again lauded for its pioneering position in promoting women in business

Bird & Bird, representing France, has won the “Europe Women in Business Law Awards 2013” presented by IFLR on Wednesday, June 19th. The firm thus confirms its pioneering position in promoting women in business.

Vonnick Le Guillou was nominated in the Aviation category and two other women in the firm won an individual award in Telecommunications, Media and Technology and Life Sciences.

The Europe Women in Business Law Awards rewards law firms for their efforts in promoting women in the legal profession, and also distinguishes leading women in their field of expertise in Europe.

Last April, this international firm appointed 11 partners; 7 of whom are women and 2 in Paris (Julie Catala-Marty and Annet van Hooft).

Furthermore, Benjamine Fiedler has recently taken over from Frédérique Dupuis-Toubol as Managing Partner. Bird & Bird thus places a woman at the head of its French operation for the 14th consecutive year.
