Bird & Bird advising the Just Eat Group as they enter into a joint venture with



The British group Just Eat, the world's largest online takeaway ordering service, has entered into a strategic partnership with the founders of Alloresto and Avenir Entreprises (a subsidiary of CDC), its reference shareholder.

Just Eat is to invest approximately 20 million Euros in EAT Online which operates under the Alloresto brand and could eventually acquire the company's entire capital. The joint venture will be managed by Sébastien Forest, founder and current Managing Director of Alloresto.

This partnership with France's leading takeaway ordering services will allow the Just Eat Group, which is currently represented in 16 countries and employs almost 600 people, to gain a foothold in the French market and to secure its position as world leader in online takeaway ordering services.
