International law firm Bird & Bird has advised new client, Evolution Securities Ltd on the secondary admission and placing by Plant Health Care plc on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. The placing helped raise £6.5 million for Plant Health Care giving it a market capitalisation of £26 million.
Bird & Bird handled the corporate issues for Evolution Securities – the NOMAD on the deal. Corporate partner Mark Pinder and senior assistant Mark Cummings handled the work. This new instruction follows on from a series of AIM listings for the firm which has recently been advising a number of non-UK companies wishing to be admitted to AIM. Swedish company XCounter AB was admitted to AIM earlier this year. XCounter was also the first Swedish company to list on AIM. Bird & Bird also advised on the admission of the first Dutch company (Bateman Engineering) and the first Italian company (Teleunit S.A) to launch on AIM.
Law firm Reed Smith acted for Plant Health Care plc.
