Top flight Competition Partner Completes the Picture in Paris

International law firm, Bird & Bird has appointed Olivier Fréget as a partner in its Paris office. He joins the firm tomorrow, from SG Archibald (Andersen legal), where he was a partner and head of the EU, Distribution & Competition Law Department in Paris, as well as being a member of the Intellectual Property/Information Technology Group.

Olivier has considerable experience of advising major French Telcos and ISPs on Telecommunications liberalisation issues, particularly in regard to the Competition Council and the French Telecommunication regulatory body. His Competition expertise also spans E-commerce and Pharmaceuticals.

Bird & Bird's Paris office was established in January 2000 by Paris Managing Partner, Frédérique Dupuis-Toubol and a team of 10 lawyers.
