In celebration of Black History Month, we are delighted to host a roundtable workshop led by Nova Reid, Diversity Consultant and Anti-Racism Educator, discussing the interrelationship between diversity and inclusion
Registration will open at 18:00 with the roundtable workshop starting at 18:30. Drinks and canapes will follow until 21:00.
Special guest speaker, Nova Reid will lead informative table discussions and share insights on:
- What diversity and inclusion mean as separate elements;
- How they should work in synergy; and
- What can be done to combat tokenism and promote true inclusion.

2019 National Diversity Awards nominee Nova Reid is a diversity and anti-racism campaigner and consultant who uses her professional experience in mental wellbeing and NLP leadership to focus on mindset change. With humility and humour she has a proven track record of working with individuals and organisations to confront and dismantle inequality in the workplace and beyond, from the top down and the inside-out.
In June 2019 Nova was nominated for Consultancy of The Year Award in the Inclusive Companies Awards. In March 2019 she was invited to host a panel about leading change featuring Gina Martin as part of the UK's first SHE SUMMIT featuring the Chair of the UN. In the same month, she was honoured one of the Top 100 Black British Women as part of International Women's Day 2019.
Nova regularly appears on BBC News, Sky News and BBC Radio as an expert on race and diversity matters. In 2018 she was invited to attend the Royal Wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to provide expert media commentary. She is a regular mentor at Women of the World (WOW) Festival and is a popular keynote speaker working with leading social justice organisations including Change.org.
Nova is also founder of multi award-winning media platform and London show dedicated to diversity; Nu Bride.
