With the controversial Trade Union Bill promising a number of substantial changes, the topic of industrial relations is high on the agenda. This follows the 2015 landmark case on collective bargaining, BALPA v Jet2.com Limited (in which this firm acted for the employer), which established for the first time the parameters of a union's rights to bargain pay hours and holiday. This session will focus on developments in these areas.
