Bird & Bird's Data Protection Compliance Support Group

17 November 2015

15:00 - 19:00

Bird & Bird, 15 Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1JP

European law makers want your organisation to implement exacting new data governance measures. These potentially include appointing a Data Protection Officer to oversee your data compliance, with high fines for those who fail.

So what actions should individuals tasked with managing an organisation's data compliance be prioritising now?

Bird & Bird's Data Protection Compliance Support Group will help them decide, and provide an informal setting for those involved in this important area to share ideas and experiences. In particular, those new to data and cyber compliance will be catered for, although the group is suitable for those with all levels of experience and whether from a legal, regulatory, HR or security background.

The group will meet quarterly in our London office with agenda items led either by a Bird & Bird lawyer or by one of our clients. Drinks and an opportunity to network with other guests will follow the meeting.
