Intellectual property (IP) clauses in employment contracts are often overlooked and come under scrutiny only when the employee leaves and problems arise. In this session, we will look at the IP issues that can arise in an employment or post-employment situation and how some of these issues can be pre-empted by ensuring that the necessary safeguards are built into the employment contract.
