In light of various leave entitlements that employees have under local law and company policies, managing employee absence is a key and integral part of operating a business. It is important for employers to ensure that leave entitlements are granted and paid in compliance with law.
Occasionally, employee absence could negatively impact the employer's business, especially in cases of long-term absences, or in some instances, abuse of sickness absence.

We will also discuss the key considerations that employers should bear in mind when managing employee absence and share some practical tips on how to navigate scenarios where employee absence could cause an issue to the business.
