Following feedback gathered from our clients and contacts, we have developed a programme that we hope will cover the current areas of interest for those managing large cross-border workforces.
The event will consist of a number of workshops on current international employment issues, in addition to opportunities to attend one-to-one surgeries with partners from across our international network, and to participate in networking sessions. This programme is designed for senior HR and legal specialists and will provide them with an opportunity to share their experiences and network.

The following workshops will be run simultaneously during the afternoon slots. Please select which workshop you would like to attend for each time slot when registering for the seminar. You will have the opportunity to attend two sessions. In particular, we will review the information and consultation obligations that arise in such situations and how these should be managed with overall timing issues.
Cross Border Transactions: this workshop will cover the employment related considerations associated with cross-border transactions, including M&A and outsourcing.
Mobile Workforces: we will look at the challenges of running mobile workforces including specifically international secondments, employee rights on terminations of employment and how to minimise risks and the viability of an international contract of employment.
International Competition and Confidentiality: we will take you through ways of protecting your international business interests, looking at the local and international aspects of preparing and enforcing confidentiality clauses and restrictive covenants, together with some of the pitfalls and practicalities involved.
