DR Essentials: How not to lose a dispute before it's started

Date: 28 June 2018
Time: 8:30 - 9:30am    Venue: 4/F Three Pacific Place, 1 Queen's Road East, Hong Kong

The often overlooked clauses at the end of contracts, if poorly drafted or misunderstood, can have significant effect on subsequent disputes and the processes and costs incurred.

At this breakfast seminar, Partner, Robert Rhoda and Registered Foreign Lawyer, Rebecca Sargent, will focus on key contractual provisions to bear in mind at the drafting stage, in particular, the boilerplate or "midnight" clauses (such as dispute resolution, escalation, notice provisions, waiver and execution) and examine the key risk areas where mistakes can be easily avoided.

Join us for breakfast at 8.15am. Seminar starts at 8.30am.

Places are free of charge, however limited.

We have applied for CPD accreditation.
