Bird & Bird's International Aerospace, Defence and Security Group would like to invite you to a seminar titled 'Deciphering the new Defence and Security Procurement Directive' on Thursday 14 April 2011 from 08.00.

The end of the implementation period for new defence and security procurement Directive is drawing near. This presentation aims to discuss and analyse the main changes introduced by this Directive and attempt a first reading of its most important practical implications. In particular this presentation will analyse the Directive's likely impact on the interpretation of Article 346 TFEU by the Court of Justice and its implications on industrial policies of EU Member States.
