Campus Ambassador Programme

Develop your skills, expand your law network, and step ahead in applications with exclusive events and learning opportunities.

In partnership with The Lawyer Portal (TLP), we’re offering university students the opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills through a carefully curated 12-month programme.

During your role as a Campus Ambassador, you’ll:
• receive access to exclusive events with us at Bird & Bird;
• develop your skill set and law knowledge with insight sessions and workshops;
• learn how to be successful in applications to our early career opportunities, like our Vacation Schemes;
• network with our lawyers and fellow Ambassadors to expand your legal network;
• engage with aspiring lawyers across your university campus; and
• receive regular feedback and complete the programme with a skills report.

With your know-how and campus connections, you’ll raise awareness of the wealth of resources that TLP has to offer and the breath of early career opportunities at Bird & Bird. You’ll get involved with:
• leadership and community-building, by managing social media pages and sharing relevant TLP articles and encouraging university members to join;
• communication and organisation, by creatively promoting TLP and Bird & Bird at university, e.g., running and speaking at events and contributing to TLP website content; and
• growth and product development, by participating in focus groups and market research with TLP.

Nia Lewis

As a Campus Ambassador, I got to know Bird & Bird and understand its culture and values by promoting the firm through campus-based events and workshops. This role helped me when applying to the firm, as I had an insight into their sector approach, international reach, and types of work trainees do for clients.”
