Our learning and development scheme is designed to help you meet your professional goals, so that you are on the road to success, from day one.
We organise a variety of training sessions ranging from language training, to business development skills, to contract drafting and much more. We invest in developing all our lawyers, including graduates. Our goal is to guide you in your career, from trainee to partner.
Bespoke seminars and coaching
We will encourage you to attend our regular legal seminars and workshops to highlight and discuss new and interesting legal topics, so you’re be up to date with the latest developments in all fields of the law.
We also provide individual coaching sessions with a dedicated in-house mentor who will actively support you throughout your career with us.
Sport and social activities
You will be invited to participate in the firm's social and sporting events, currently including our very popular annual ski weekend.
What we’re looking for
High academic achievements are expected, but we also look for well-rounded individuals who will fit in well in our environment. As our clients are both international and local businesses, a good command of English, Dutch and French is required for all practice areas other than Competition Law for which excellent English is the key language requirement.
The trainees we recruit should be sociable, articulate team players, who are willing to work hard when called upon and who are genuinely interested in progressing their careers.

You can apply for our summer internships until 31 January. In your application please tell us about your academic achievements, why you want to work with us and which practice area interests you most. If you become a trainee with us, you will be given the chance and all the support you need to develop beyond your own expectations.
The selection process
When you apply for a vacancy, your application will be reviewed by one of the partners. If your application is successful you will be invited for an interview conducted by a partner and our HR manager. This interview is a general interview aimed at getting to know you better. We will of course discuss your legal skills, but we are also interested in your personal interests and opinions. The final stage in the process is a second round interview when you will be introduced to more members of the practice area.
Following this interview we will let you know what our decision is as soon as possible.
Even if there is no vacancy in your preferred area, we nonetheless still invite you to send in an application. When a vacancy arises applications we have already received are always considered first.
