We recruit graduates with the potential to develop expert legal skills and commercial insight. Academic achievement and common sense are prerequisites, but we also look for well-rounded individuals who will fit in well with our culture. We represent both international and local businesses so English, Dutch and French language skills are required for all practice areas other than Competition Law.
Our trainee solicitors should be sociable, articulate team-players who are willing to work hard when called upon and who are genuinely interested in building their careers. We aim to recruit people who will stay with the firm, and therefore seek candidates who have a long-term interest in Bird & Bird and the sectors and areas of legal practice on which we focus.
