Anna has outstanding experience when it comes to international patent litigation, especially in the pharma and life sciences sector.
Anna Wolters is partner in the German Intellectual Property Practice Group with a focus on patent and pharmaceutical law.
Anna advises national and international clients of various industry sectors particularly in international patent disputes. The centre of her practice is litigation before the civil courts, but also the cooperation before the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court. Many of her clients are from the Life Sciences sector.
Anna studied at the Universities of Hamburg and Bordeaux, France. She has been awarded a doctor’s degree from the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. Anna’s thesis deals with issues of patentability of human biotechnological inventions in Germany and Europe.
Anna regularly lectures on patent law at national and international conferences. She is fluent in English and French. She is a member of the German Intellectual Property and Copyright Association (GRUR), the German Lawyer’s Association (DAV; particularly Working Group Intellectual Property and Media) and the US Federal Circuit Bar Association.
