Russell Dellar is a partner in Bird & Bird’s Banking & Financial Services Group specialising in property finance and commercial real estate matters. He joined the firm in May 2004 and is a member of both the real estate banking and insolvency practice groups.

Russell has acted for many banks and financial institutions, domestic and international, on secured lending transactions including a number of cross-border property finance transactions. He also acts for large corporates and specialises in the property aspects of acquisition finance, including management buy-ins/buy-outs, corporate disposals and the purchase and sale of loan portfolios. Russell also has extensive experience acting for banks and insolvency practitioners in all aspects of insolvency related property matters.

Additionally, he acts regularly for landlords and tenants and on commercial property sales and purchases.
