Stefan joined Bird & Bird in August 2008. He is a member of the firm’s Corporate M&A Group and provides legal advice for international and domestic clients on M&A, especially cross-border M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. In addition, he is experienced in real estate transactions, including acquisitions of huge real estate portfolios.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird Stefan was an associate with Hölters & Elsing in Frankfurt (practice area M&A/Corporate) for two years. He studied law at the Universities of Tübingen and Geneva (Switzerland) and acquired a PH.D. in 2005 at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (Prof. Schröder) in corporate law.

In 2006 Stefan was admitted to the Bar in Frankfurt, Germany.
