Rhian qualified into Bird & Bird's Commercial group in September 2006, having joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2004. She provides general commercial and technology advice in the public and private sectors.
She advises on drafting licensing agreements, non disclosure agreements and online terms and conditions. She has negotiated change control notes and advised on the application of procurement regulations to the extension of existing public contracts. Rhian provides general data protection compliance advice including drafting and reviewing data protection policies and employee monitoring policies, and advises on a variety of Freedom of Information and Data Protection compliance issues.
During her time at Bird & Bird, Rhian has undertaken two secondments with major financial institution drafting non disclosure agreements, terms and conditions for new products and inter-group agreements and provided contract management and general commercial advice for the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency on its MOT Computerisation PFI Agreement with Siemens IT Solutions Services Ltd.
