Ramin specialises in intellectual property law. He is a US patent agent advising and representing clients in IP matters, with a focus on life sciences, medical devices, molecular biology, organic and pharmaceutical chemistry.

In 2008, he completed his Master of Law degree at Munich Intellectual Property Law School in partnering with the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law, George Washington University Law School, the University of Augsburg, and the Technische Universität München where he focused on International IP and competition law. 

Before joining Bird & Bird as an associate in 2008, Ramin worked in the IP sector of another major IP law firm in New York where he gained experience in the area of patent and design law.

Ramin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from University of California San Diego in 2003. He speaks Parsi and English.
