Pekka Raatikainen is a partner in Bird & Bird´s Helsinki office. He specialises in providing legal services in the areas of IT, IP and real estate, both on a national and international level. Pekka has extensive experience in advising clients on IT and IP related issues. In recent years he has also been involved in the co-ordination and running of various zoning and construction projects.
Pekka is a CEDR accredited mediator and also provides dispute resolution services, particularly in his above-mentioned areas of expertise.
Pekka received his law degree from the University of Helsinki in 1992, and is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Finnish Industrial Property Rights Association and the Finnish IT-law Association.
Pekka is highly recommended in the International European Legal Expert 2008 in IP, IT and telecoms. Chambers and Partners recommended Pekka as an “efficient and reliable” litigator, also boasting expertise in IP and telecoms-related work.
