Marie joined Bird & Bird’s Brussels office in 2005. She specialises in general commercial law, as well as corporate law. Her expertise includes drafting, negotiating and auditing of contracts, as well as litigation of the same. She also has a particular experience in M&A and general corporate services. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Marie worked for the Brussels offices of McGuireWoods and Stanbrook & Hooper.
Marie holds a degree in law from the University of Leuven and an LLM from the University of Edinburgh. She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2000. She speaks French, Dutch and English.
