Jonathan qualified into the Employment department having spent two years as a trainee at Bird & Bird.
He undertakes a variety of business-related immigration work and regularly obtains work permits, extensions and applications for further leave to remain as well as advising on a range of other business-related immigration issues. Jonathan is currently presenting update seminars on the radical overhaul of the immigration system proposed by the Government.
In addition, he has experience of both contentious and non-contentious cross-border employment issues. He has been involved with drafting contracts of employment and compromise agreements, assisting on large commercial transactions, assisting in employment tribunal claims and coordinating and advising on employment issues in multiple jurisdictions for international organisations.
