James is an Associate in the International Employment Group. He has extensive experience of advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues in the public and private sectors including: the negotiation and termination of contracts of service for senior personnel, discrimination issues, ‘whistleblowing’, advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants, conduct of employment tribunal and High Court proceedings, implementing redundancy programmes, the application of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 and 2006 (“TUPE”), and other employment aspects of corporate transactions.
James regularly contributes articles to legal publications on topical subjects with an employment law angle and has written for the national press, including The Times. James also speaks at seminars and conferences on employment law matters.
