Jakub joined Bird & Bird's Polish office from M. Furtek i Wspólnicy where he worked on IT projects and dispute resolution matters. His experience also includes working in ADR, arbitration and litigation department of CMS Cameron McKenna Warsaw Office as well as in Drzewiecki, Tomaszek & Partners Legal Office – leading IP advisor in Poland. Jakub is admitted to the Warsaw Bar as apprentice.

His main areas of legal practice are:

• IT – drafting, negotiating and advising to clients in a number of IT systems license/implementation/maintenance projects;
• Dispute resolution; 
• Corporate and commercial (including mergers and acquisitions); and 
• Litigation, arbitrations, and court administrative disputes.

Jakub studied law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University (Master of Laws degree). Just recently he obtained second LL.M. degree from the Amsterdam Law School of the Faculty of Law, Universiteit van Amsterdam, specialising in International Trade Law - International Investment Arbitration.
