Henriette joined Bird & Bird's IT Practice Group at the beginning of 2006 as a specialist in IT and IP law. She has substantial knowledge and practical experience in handling and advising on national and international IT agreements (licensing, distribution, professional services), regulatory issues (in particular data protection and data security) as well as on general corporate commercial law.
Henriette was admitted to the Munich bar in 2006. She completed her legal training in Munich and Sydney and passed the German bar exam in 2005. From 1997 to 2002, Henriette studied law at the universities of Freiburg, Seville and Dresden and was a research assistant at the universities of Freiburg and Dresden. From 2003 to 2004, Henriette was a research scholar of the Max-Planck-Institute for Intellectual Property, Munich, where she wrote her doctorate thesis on German copyright law.
Henriette is a member of the German Society of Law and Informatics (DGRI e.V.). She speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
