Harm is a partner in the Corporate Group, based in The Hague. He specialises in corporate finance transactions, particularly in Energy & Utilities, Infrastructure and TMT. He also advises on financial law. His clients are mainly investment banks and private equity funds.
The Chambers 2006 edition reports that Harm ”impressed interviewees as a responsive and client-focused practitioner”. He is also recommended in the most recent Legal 500 editions.
Before joining the firm he worked at Loyens & Loeff in London where he had a prominent role in building up the corporate finance practice and at Simmons & Simmons where he headed the Dutch Energy and Infrastructure Group.
Before becoming a lawyer, he worked at the European Commission (Financial Control) in Brussels and the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg as the assistant of an MEP (Economic and Financial affairs).
Harm is a member of the Dutch Association of Securities Law and lectures from time to time on corporate and financial law to university students and professionals.
