Cecilia was admitted in PRC in 2000. After obtaining her LLB in PRC, Cecilia completed the LLM in Law School of Sydney University in 2003. During her study in Australia, she had a period of work experience as an intern in Minter Ellison (Sydney office).
Cecilia has extensive experience in legal services concerning IP protection practices and unfair competition actions in China, such as issuing legal opinions on identification, definition and settlement of IP disputes; strategic planning for brand protection, trademark prosecution; advising on assignment and licensing of intellectual property; strategy for protection of IPR and other IP related rights and risk management measures. She has litigation experience in IP infringement (esp. for trademark and copyright protection and enforcement) as well as administrative actions, domain name disputes and unfair competition cases. She has been assisting clients in IT, pharmaceutical, and entertainment industry on contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
Cecilia is based in our Beijing office, and she is fluent in Mandarin and English.
