Sonia Parsons joined Bird & Bird's International Employment Group in 2003, having trained at Herbert Smith. Sonia advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
She has advised extensively on executive terminations and general employment-related issues such as redundancy programmes, disciplinary matters, discrimination and family friendly rights. She also has significant experience of drafting service agreements and other employment related documentation.
Sonia has been involved in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including claims of unfair dismissal, breach of contract, Equal Pay and discrimination. She also has considerable experience of working on cross-border employment law issues and has assisted on a number of large share acquisitions and asset sales involving international organisations.
