Philip is an experienced employment lawyer. He started his legal career in 1990 with Loeff Claeys Verbeke and then moved to Andersen Legal in 1995. In September 2001 he moved back to Loeff Claeys Verbeke (now named Loyens & Loeff). On the 1st August 2002 Philip joined Bird & Bird as a partner.
Originally a corporate lawyer, Philip developed his expertise in employment law after specialising in employment aspects of corporate transactions. This allowed him to develop a deal-related employment practice at Andersen’s. Philip is now a full time employment lawyer with broad experience in all aspects of employment law but with a special interest in deal-related and cross-border employment law.
