Marie graduated in Business law and in European law and holds a post graduate degree (DESS) in international business law. She practiced for one year as a paralegal in a French and Chinese law firm in Hong Kong (Thomas, Mayer & Associés). She then worked as a qualified solicitor at Clyde & Co in Paris for two years within the aviation team, dealing with liability cases (litigation and legal advice) as well as insurance law.

Marie joined Bird & Bird in 2005, within the Aviation and Dispute Resolution Groups. She has been involved in various domestic and international product liability disputes, aviation disputes and commercial disputes. She has also been advising on aviation regulation, insurance law, defective products recall and contract or general terms and conditions drafting.
