Kimmo Reina is a partner based in Bird & Bird’s Helsinki office. He is also head of the Finnish Outsourcing Group. Kimmo specialises in providing legal services in the fields of corporate, commercial and non-contentious IP law, both on a national and international level, particularly to clients operating in the IT, E-commerce and life sciences sectors. Kimmo is experienced in advising on, and negotiating, a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers & acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, IT and business process outsourcing transactions and commercial contracts within IPR intensive industry sectors. Kimmo received his first law degree (LLM) from the University of Turku. Kimmo also holds an LLM degree from the Columbia University and is admitted to the New York State Bar.
