Jim Runsten is a partner and Head of the IT Sector Group. He also heads the Data Protection and the Outsourcing groups in Stockholm. Jim specialises in providing legal services in the areas of commercial, IP and corporate law both on a national and international level, to clients active within the IT and Communications sectors.

Jim has considerable experience of advising clients on a wide range of IT-related issues. In particular, Jim has advised clients on various local and cross-border IT and business process outsourcing transactions. He also speaks and contributes to articles and books on IT and e-commerce related issues, e.g. Internet Law and Regulation (Sweet Maxwell), and Handbook on Global Sourcing (ICC) and International Electronic Evidence (British Institute of International and Comparative Law).

Jim is listed as a leading practitioner in the International Who’s Who of Internet and E-commerce Lawyers 2008.
