Jennifer qualified as a solicitor in 2000. She spent 3½ years in the Intellectual Property department of Bird & Bird before moving in-house to be Senior Legal Adviser for a soft drinks company. After three years in-house, she re-joined Bird & Bird in August 2007.
Jennifer’s practice covers the full range of intellectual property matters from application to enforcement, with particular emphasis on trade marks and passing off. Jennifer regularly advises on contentious issues such as trade mark infringement, trade mark oppositions, anti-counterfeiting, passing off and domain name disputes, as well as non-contentious issues such as portfolio management and registration strategy, licences, advertising copy clearance, promotions, food labelling and other commercial issues. Jennifer also advises on copyright, patent, design and confidentiality issues.
