Francesco Torelli joined Bird & Bird’s Corporate Group in December 2006. He is based in the Milan office.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Francesco was general counsel in a European venture capital firm and before that he was junior partner in the Italian law firm Lombardi Molinari & Associati.

His practice focuses on both domestic and international M&A and in particular on venture capital and private equity transactions. He has also acquired significant experience in capital markets and acquisition financing.

Francesco graduated magna cum laude from the University of Bari in 1993 and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1997.

He speaks Italian, English and French.
