Claire was admitted in England in 2003 and in Hong Kong in 2005. She trained with Bird & Bird in London and is now an associate in the intellectual property group of the Bird & Bird Hong Kong office.
Claire holds an MA in Classics from Oxford University and has recently completed a Masters dissertation on the Law of Confidential Information at City University, London.
She has been closely involved in a number of large-scale patent infringement matters in the UK and in Asia, acting on behalf of major pharmaceuticals clients and a leading global computer manufacturer. She also has experience of litigation in relation to copyright and trade mark infringement and domain name disputes in Hong Kong and Mainland China, and works on a range of non-contentious intellectual property matters, including licensing, assignment, distribution and commercial IT agreements.
