Philip is a finance lawyer based in The Hague office of Bird & Bird. He advises on a wide range of international and Dutch domestic transactions which includes advising banks and corporates on: (syndicated) loans (incl. acquisition finance); security rights; legal opinions; company law; regulatory law; structured finance; and project finance.
Philip started his career in 1998 at the international law firm Stibbe where he was based in their Amsterdam and London offices. Before joining Bird & Bird, Philip also spent some time at Linklaters Amsterdam. He holds a law degree from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and did a post-academic course securities law at the Grotius Academy. He speaks English and Dutch.
