Sebastian Fischoeder is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Bird & Bird. He deals with all aspects of non-technical German and European intellectual property law, copyright law, unfair competition and licensing. His work focuses on trade mark, design und unfair competition advice and litigation.
Sebastian Fischoeder studied law at the University of Passau and at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. He passed his Second State Examination in Munich. He pursued his studies with a focus on intellectual property and European competition law at Trinity College, Dublin (LL.M.). There, he worked for the Office of the Attorney General as a freelancer. Since November 2002 Sebastian works in Bird & Bird’s Düsseldorf office. He was admitted to the bar in 2003.
Sebastian Fischoeder is a member of the Deutsche Vereinigung für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht – GRUR (German Association for Commercial Property Rights and Copyright Law) and of the German-Irish Lawyers’ Association.
