Ruth Boardman is a partner in Bird & Bird’s Commercial Practice in London. She advises on information law issues such as data protection, freedom of information, database rights and the law of confidentiality. Ruth also advises on information technology law, e-commerce and on public procurement law. Ruth has recently co-written Data Protection Strategy, with Richard Morgan, published by Sweet & Maxwell in November 2003, edits the Encyclopedia of Data Protection (Sweet & Maxwell) and is on the editorial board of Data Protection Law & Policy.
