Polina joined the Intellectual Property department of Bird & Bird in January 2005 from Denton Wilde Sapte.

She graduated from Oxford University in 2000 with a BA in Law with Legal Studies in Europe. She spent the third year of her degree studying German law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

Polina has experience of both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work.  She has advised clients on a variety of intellectual property matters concerning copyright, patents, designs, trademarks, domain names, passing off and confidentiality.  She has also advised on information technology matters, data protection issues and general commercial contracts.
