Piet de Quay joined Bird & Bird in The Hague as a candidate civil law notary in 2002. He completed studies in history and philosophy and worked at Utrecht University before switching his career and moving to Rotterdam where he worked for several law firms (De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Andersen Legal).
At the notarial department of Bird & Bird in The Hague, Piet is involved in a wide range of activities in company law and real estate law. He also gained experience in the field of Dutch family and succession law, and advises on problems regarding family law, estate planning and international private law.
He speaks English, French and German.
